His story
Gary's primary role is lead Partner of the firm's Corporate Services Division specialising in business valuations and experts reports for litigation support and ASX listed entities as well as assisting clients with mergers, acquisitions and divestments and due diligence reviews.
Gary also has a passion for working with clients in their business planning and reporting processes.
Gary's 25 year career includes several years with a 'Big 4' accounting firm and a lengthy period in industry before Alexander & Spencer in 1996. His experience in stockbroking, audit, investment, litigation support, insolvency practice, financial consulting and general management gives him a thorough and practical understanding of special demands placed on growing businesses and the transition from private to public.
His combination of traditional accounting experience, strong problem solving and expertise in the area of management support and advice, make him an extremely valuable asset for our clients.

Why did you choose to work at Nexia Alexander & Spencer / BKR Rosenbergs?
New partners at the firm and there was an opportunity to establish new division for corporate clients, utilising my experience from public practice and industry.
Why did you become an accountant?
Suited my problem solving strengths, provided an environment to become exposed to most business management issues, provided a skills base to transport internationally.
If you could have any one / any business in the world as a client who would it be and why?
Macquarie Bank - continued ability to reinvent their offering and develop profitable business models.
If you could have dinner with any one in the world, living or dead, who would it be and why?
Greg Norman - just to be able to share his experiences, motivation and business intellect.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Family time, golf, food and wine.
