His story
Gary has over 35 years experience in practice including 10 years with a big four Accounting Firm and 18 years as a partner in the accounting firm Hershan Serebro. In 1999 he merged his practice with Nexia Alexander & Spencer where he remains as a Senior Partner.

He is a former State Councillor and former State Chairman of the Victorian Division of the Taxation Institute of Australia.

His areas of specialisation are:

• Strategic Taxation Planning to facilitate optimal taxation and hence.
• Wealth creation outcomes for family groups.
• Salary packaging advice to executives to maximise their after tax income and minimise fringe benefits tax.
• Strategic Estate Planning advice that considers not only the current generation but also the future generations in terms of tax advantaged income streams and Reasonable Benefit Limit (RBL) implications.
• Planning Superannuation Taxation Strategies for members particularly those who are either approaching retirement or their RBL limits.
