What qualifications do you have?
I attended a Secretarial Business Course after completing Year 12 and deciding not to be a kindergarten teacher after all.

What experience do you have?
Over 25 years working in the business services divisions of four chartered accounting firms as a Personal Assistant.
I commenced my career as a Junior Secretary in a small city firm of 15 people. Following a merger I worked for the next 19 years as Personal Assistant to five partners in Deloitte and located to four different offices during my tenure. My next position was as Personal Assistant to two partners at Rosenberg & Partners which became BKR Rosenbergs. During my seven years at BKR Rosenbergs I was fortunate to work for all four of the partners who were connected to the firm during those years.

June 2005

Why did you choose to work at Nexia Alexander & Spencer / BKR Rosenbergs?
I applied for a job with Rosenberg & Partners to test the waters and after seeing the office and meeting the partners and staff thought I would fit it well - People were smiling from their desks and the buzz as I walked around was good.

Why did you become an accountant?
I like the accounting profession as the people who work in this area are "real" people from all walks of life and many nationalities and the work is always interesting.

If you could have any one / any business in the world as a client who would it be and why?
Bill Gates for his entrepreneurship and vision and the fact that he has helped change the world with technology, innovation, leadership and entrepreneurial skills.

If you could have dinner with any one in the world, living or dead, who would it be and why?
I would like to have dinner with Lee Harvey Oswald to find out what really happened on the day US president Kennedy was killed and why he did it.

What AFL team do you barrack for?
I barrack for Essendon - the bombers.
